Audio Improvements
- Audio latency has been improved in this patch, lowered by approximately 20ms. We encourage the community to report any audio distortion issues, though this should overall be a strict upgrade.
General Changes
- Dashes no longer hit past max range and are more accurate.
- Fixed a bug where immobilizations (stuns, roots, etc.) allowed a small amount of movement after application.
- Minions no longer receive hit knockbacks while dead or when killed.
- Minion spreads are more responsive now, addressing issues where they would walk back to formation after being knocked up.
- Improved deployable responsiveness; fixed an issue where some deployables were slightly delayed from intended timing.
- [GOD:Ymir] received a polish pass to improve latency and responsiveness to his personal self-root/control locks.
- Added a maintenance message at the top of the screen when servers are down.
UI/UX Improvements
- Lines in the item store now connect components, making it easier to understand the flow of item building.
- Accolades have been greatly improved:
- Players will now see accolades for things they did.
- Players will also see text for actions they did not perform.
- Note: Some accolades are temporary art.
- Bots can now be added to custom lobbies.
- Role filters have been added to the Gods Page and Match Lobby:
- These filters show a subset of gods good in a specific role, making it easier for players to find appropriate gods, especially for newer players.
- End of Match Lobby Improvements:
- The results screen will now show progress towards Account Level, Ascension Level, and Rank.
- Note: This screen is WIP and may show some temp data, incorrect or god data.
- Players will also see if they have Ascension Rewards to claim.
- Scoreboard now highlights stat leaders.
- The results screen will now show progress towards Account Level, Ascension Level, and Rank.
- Fixed an issue where Titans were regenerating HP faster than intended while all Phoenixes were up.
Arena Changes
- A number of changes were made to reduce the "snowball effect" that led to more one-sided matches than intended.
- Added more gift spawns on each team's side of the map and reduced spawns in the center, allowing teams closer to their base to access buffs without falling further behind.
- Disabled the Killstreak buff ("On-Fire" mechanic) to prevent win-more situations. The damage increase was more impactful than the increased damage taken, leading to less balanced matches.
- Increased XP spooling from 10 to 11 to match Smite 1 pacing.
Balance Changes
- Gods no longer have base Strength. This stat has been replaced with Basic Attack Power. Functionally, basic attack damage and scaling should feel identical, but gods with Strength scaling are now decoupled from gaining Strength per level.

New Passive: Dishonest Duplication
- You have a chance of spawning a clone of yourself with each basic attack hitting an enemy
- Clones last 3s, deal 30% of your Basic Attack Damage and take 500% Increased Damage
- Clones have a 5% + 0.25% Per Level chance of spawning a clone
- Clones target the enemy that was hit when they were created
Ability 1: Fool's Gold
- Roll out 3 money bags that deal Physical Damage to enemies hit and then explode dealing Physical Damage
- They stop on enemy gods, Trembling them and dropping a coin
- Coins can be picked up by yourself or allied gods to provide you 10 gold
Ability 2: Alluring Spirits
- Drink some sake, Healing over time before throwing the bottle, dealing Physical Damage to enemies hit.
- On landing, the bottle applies a stacking Slow to enemy gods
- On reaching 3 stacks, they are Taunted towards the bottle
Ability 3: Tanuki Trickery
- Create a field where you gain Movement Speed, Slow Immunity, your Basic Attack Movement Penalty is removed, and your Dishonest Duplication chance is doubled. When you leave the area, it disappears and you transform into a leaf while decoys mimic your movement
- Enemies in the field are Slowed
- As a leaf you gain increased Movement Speed, Slow Immunity, and a buff that causes your next Basic Attack to deal Physical Damage
Ultimate Ability: Uproarious Rocket
- Fire a rocket that locks onto enemy gods or reactivate this ability to become the rocket! The rocket deals Physical Damage, Stuns the first enemy god hit and explodes dealing Physical Damage.

New Passive: Apotheosis
- [GOD:Hercules] gains Strength when enemy gods damage him. This stacks up to 3 times and lasts 5s. Additionally, hit a target with an ability to gain a stack toward achieving Apotheosis, or 2 stacks from his Ultimate.
- At 4 stacks, enter an empowered state that immediately subtracts 2s from active cooldowns and provides an additional Strength, Protections, and Cleaving basic attacks for the duration.
Ability 1: Driving Strike
- Dash forward, dealing [95% STR] Physical Damage, Stunning and Pushing enemies hit
Ability 2: Earthbreaker
- Create a rift that deals [75% STR] Physical Damage to enemies in front of you. Enemies hit by the end area are Pulled to you.
Ability 3: Mitigate Wounds
- Immediately Heal yourself, and gain Attack Speed and Protections for 4s. At the end of the duration Heal yourself again for a percentage of damage taken during the effect
Ultimate Ability: Excavate
- Hurl a boulder at a location, Displacing enemies straight up at the landing spot. The boulder then rolls and bounces off walls, dealing [105% STR] Physical Damage to enemies hit.

- Fixed an issue with the Kill Announcements and Accolades showing her transformed target's icon instead of hers if she got a Kill/Assist while transformed

- Fixed an issue where his pillar could permanently slow targets on occasion near Jungle Objectives

- Fixed an issue where her Ultimate wasn't cancelling her backing animation
- [GOD:Bacchus]
- Fixed an issue where there was no VFX visible on Lowest settings for his Chug
- [GOD:BaronSamedi]
- Fixed an issue where his Brew bottle was missing on his belt

- Fixed an issue where her Ultimate ability was missing some SFX on the meteor as it hit enemies at further distances

- Fixed an issue where her Moonstrike wasn't causing stun animations to play on enemies
General Gameplay
- Fixed issues with multiple god projectiles that go through walls stopping on the edge of map boundaries
- Fixed an issue with Ranked Draft not having the countdown SFX when it was a player's turn to pick for the last 10 seconds
- Fixed an issue where Item Auras weren't applying when Gods were mid leap or in the air
- Fixed an issue where the Minotaur minion could stop moving on occasion
- Fixed an issue with kill-hit knockbacks on minions, they should feel parity to SMITE 1 on death now
- Fixed buff belts showing vertically on the Conquest Teleporter particle while traveling
- Fixed some God weapons and VFX showing when traveling in the Conquest Teleporter
- Fixed an issue where Titans were being body blocked by minions, they now can walk through minions
- Fixed an issue where if a God was polymorphed while they had a buff belt, the belt would go vertical on the pig
- Fixed an issue with God VO being cut off after they died
- Fixed an issue where God clones and pets weren't counting towards damage dealt to Gods, Minions, and Jungle camps for Item stacking
- Fixed an issue with the Ranked Queue not swapping to the Solo/Party queue if the party size updated after selecting the queue
- Fixed an issue in Co-Op where bot HP bars would sometimes appear offset from their models
- Fixed issues where Gods that dashed into the Fire Giant could get pulled back to the point of entry, should get pushed out radially now
UI
- Fixed an issue where the Player level would display as Level 1 on Login until a match was completed
- Fixed issues with the Ascension Pass Global Emote preview being cut off on the bottom of the art
- Fixed an issue where Voice Chat Push To Talk wasn't working in the God Select Lobby
- Fixed an issue where Starter Items weren't being shown with the "Upgrade Available" indicator in the player inventory like other items
- Fixed how HP shields display on nameplates to be more parity with SMITE 1
- Fixed Conquest Roles being visible in Arena's God Select lobby
- Fixed multiple navigation issues on Console in the EOML when navigating over a player, should be more clear now
- Fixed issues in the Match History tab where it showed wildly incorrect KDA numbers sometimes
- Fixed an issue with the Item Store when sorting T1/T3 items, it changed the current position in the store instead of staying at the top
Items
- Fixed an issue with [ITEM:(1952)Phantom Shell], where the targeter was highlighting over models and world geometry and duplicating itself when pre-targeted and canceled
- Fixed an issue with Qin's Blades not proccing when hitting Gods with HP shields
Known Issues
- Console Players may get into a state where they can not navigate away from the new Account linking QR Code pop up on launch. You can press the Xbox Options button or PS5 touchpad to skip this screen
- [GOD:Danzaburou]'s Ultimate is sometimes not dealing damage if you becomes the rocket
