GODS ABILITY ORDER

Coming soon.

SECTION | LOKI, THE TRICKSTER GOD

[GOD:Loki] Villain. It’s a word used to describe those that break the rules, that take what they want, and care nothing for those hurt along the way. Loki, the trickster God, would say villainy is nothing more than a point of view. The point of view of fools too mindless to seize opportunity. Of course, with Loki now on the loose, the implications are dire. The end of times may be at hand. The final battle, Ragnarok, possibly on the horizon, for it was foretold that Loki would break free of his prison and herald the horrific final battle that would leave the Gods slain, the heavens sundered, and the world in ashes. None are more eager for that time of chaos than Loki. Before his confinement, Loki’s malicious mischief managed to affect every God in ways both beneficial and terrible. Yet Loki’s most heinous act was in the death of the God of light, Baldr. Baldr’s prophetic dreams showcased his own death. Fearful for her son, Frigg forced all objects of the world to swear never to harm him. All save mistletoe.

Cruelly amused, Loki forged a spear from the plant and provided it to Baldr’s brother Hodr. The Gods had a new favorite game, hurling objects at Baldr and laughing as they harmlessly ricocheted. So Hodr threw the spear, but, to everyone’s horror Baldr was impaled. Hel agreed to release Baldr from the underworld if all creatures of the world mourned the God of Light. And all did, save one crone who refused. So Baldr died. When it was discovered the crone was Loki in disguise, the furious Gods bound him in entrails and hung a venomous serpent overhead. Loki’s wife, Sigyn, collected the dripping venom in a bowl, but when she was forced to empty it, Loki was struck, causing such anguish his thrashing would shake the world. But now Loki is free and already wreaking havoc. If the prophetic Volva are correct, and they always are, then the end of all things has finally come.

SECTION | GOD BASIC INFORMATION

[GOD:Loki] does Physical damage. His entire kit scales off of Strength, so there is no need to consider building Intelligence on this god.

He has a 5 hit auto-attack chаin in оrdеr оf 1, 0.5, 0.5, 0.5, 1.5х dаmаgе аnd swing timе. This means his 2nd auto in his chain will do 0.5x damage, and come out in 0.5x the time as his first auto, and so on and so forth. The only noteworthy distinction to take note of, is since his first auto is 1.0, this makes him use [ITEM:(168)Hydra's Lament] incredibly well as opposed to a god with a lighter auto on their first hit in their auto attack chain.

SECTION | ABILITY RUNDOWN

Behind You! - Loki's Passive
You do an extra 15% damage to enemies (both gods and other) from behind, or when they are fully stacked from Loki's second ability.

Vanish - Loki's First Ability
Activate to enter Stealth and gain Movement Speed. Your next basic attack deals additional Physical Damage over time.

Killing a god immediately refreshes the cooldown of this ability. Additionally, while Stealthed, you are immune to Slows. Hard Crowd Control will break the Stealth, and getting hit while Stealhed will cause your outline to flicker briefly. This ability is somewhat loud, both on its activation noise and the footsteps [GOD:Loki] produces while Stealthed, so keep this in mind and try to acitvate this ability from a large distance away from the intended target. Additionally, if there is chaos or just general noise from gods fighting or casting, the noise is obviously less noticeable.

Agonizing Visions - Loki's Second Ability

Create a Vision of Loki that repeatedly deals Physical Damage to enemies around it and reduces their damage dealt. Enemies hit 4 times are Blinded.

The vision of Loki can bodyblock enemies if placed incredibly carefully. Enemies (gods or other) will take the bonus damage from Loki's Passive if they reach 4 stacks of the ability. This ability is very useful for poking with item proc's, such as [ITEM:(1930)The Crusher] and [ITEM:(1954)Heartseeker] as well as [ITEM:(1951)Bluestone Brooch].

Flurry Strike - Loki's Third Ability
Channel to deal Physical Damage and Slow enemies in front of you. The final hit deals increased Physical Damage and applies a stronger Slow.
Not much to say additionally about this, other then the fact it also obviously benefits from Loki's passive as well. This ability is INCREDIBLY punishing on more immobile gods, and can often lead to guranteed kills incredibly early in the game, and stays incredibly potent for the entire match.

Assassinate - Loki's Fourth Ability, his Ultimate Ability

Teleport to the target location, deal Physical Damage and Cripple enemies in the area. Then deal Physical Damage and Stun enemies in front of you.
This ability is seperated into two significant parts, the teleport/damage/cripple portion, and then the damage/stun portion. You can take advantage of one without the other, or both in tandem. This ability serves as a useful all around tool for anything from kill secures, setting up kills for yourself or teammates, starting a gank with it, finishing a gank with it, using it as an escape to reposition yourself, et cetera. Knowing what god you will be attacking/ganking is critical for determing when to use this ability properly. Use it too quickly, and the enemy will dash under tower and you cannot chase them. Use it after an enemy has jumped/dashed in, they are almost guranteed to die.

Additional Information:

Loki's first and second abilities are great for auto-attack cancelling, and using this to your advantage for maximum damage output will make a large difference.

What do I level first?
The leveling order, levels 1-5 is as follows:
Flurry Strike
Vanish
Agonizing Visions
Flurry Strike
Assassinate
Then, prioritize leveling your abilities in this order:
Assassinate (whenever possible)
Flurry Strike
Vanish
Agonizing Visions

SECTION | LIST OF ITEMS LOKI CAN USE COMMONLY AND WHY

COOLDOWN & DAMAGE

[ITEM:(170)Jotunn's Revenge]

Jotunn's is practically a must on most ability junglers, as the Cooldown Rate (CDR) paired with its relative stats and cost make an incredibly well rounded and affordable item.

[ITEM:(168)Hydra's Lament]

Hydra's is also practically a must on every ability jungler that uses it well (most of them) as when paired with good AA cancelling, it increases your damage output massively. The stats and cost are also nice, similar to Jotunns.

[ITEM:(233)Tekko-Kagi]

Tekko can serve as an alternative to Jotunn's, as well as additionally be paired with it sometimes for additional CDR and a smidge of Movement Speed.

[ITEM:(1930)The Crusher]

Crusher is a little more expensive then Jotunns, but with its useful passive and well-needed stats it's also fairly strong on any ability jungler (most of them) that can get the most damage out of its procs.

[ITEM:(1944)Bumba's Spear] & [ITEM:(1945)Bumba's Hammer]

Both of these are required to clear the Jungle in general, as well as offer useful stats and passives. Bumba's Cudgel/Hammer will be preferred as when paired with good AA cancelling, it can heavily increase your damage output, but Dagger/Spear are not completely barred from usage either.

PENETRATION

[ITEM:(196)Titan's Bane]

Titan's is practically mandatory in all full damage ability jungler builds, as the pen it provides in one item is essential to doing damage to backliners, frontliners, structures, and objectives as a whole.

[ITEM:(1930)The Crusher]

See above.

[ITEM:(1954)Heartseeker]

Heartseeker, when built last or second to last, provides a crucial powerspike that is noticeable when running at any target, backliner or frontliner, with decent stats to boost. It's on the expensive side, but generally worth it for the increase in damage it provides, as well as rounding the build out with a little more penetration.

SITUATIONAL

[ITEM:(227)Oath-Sworn Spear]

Oathsworn when built in the second half of your build, provides additional armor reduction (almost the same as flat penetration) that is especially useful for deleting backliners.

[ITEM:(152)Brawler's Ruin]

Arguably a core item depending on how much Antiheal the opposing team has, the stats and price are great by themselves.

[ITEM:(1892)Pendulum Blade]

More unconventional, but still can be useful to have as a minor form of skill expression with this item's active effect.

[ITEM:(1931)Serrated Edge]

Usually better the earlier it's built, this item is more uncommon but not entirely unwarranted from building.

[ITEM:(1901)Transcendence]

Could also be arguably suggested as a core item, the only downside being the relative time investment in getting it stacked, especially the earlier it is built in the game. The stats and price are good, there are just arguably better items that can come online quicker, but there's nothing wrong with swapping a particular slot for this item.

DEFENSE

[ITEM:(-36626)Mantle Of Discord]

[ITEM:(1923)Spirit Robe]

[ITEM:(1890)Circe's Hexstone]

All three of these are options for what you can slot into your build (usually towards the end) if you desperately need a defensive option to save you from getting blown up when you go in.

SECTION | COUNTERS / GODS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE / GODS YOU'D NOT LIKE TO SEE

[GOD:Loki] is countered by Wards, good Positioning, Communication with the team, and Damage-Over-Time (DoT) abilities. Silences, especially those from something like [ITEM:(194)Screeching Gargoyle] are also incredibly useful at disrupting a Loki. Hard Crowd Control abilities, such as Stuns, are also helpful.

Supports that may make your life painful:
[GOD:Geb]
Geb's on demand shield, Knockup, and large AoE Stun ult all contribute to protecting a particular individual on his team from a Loki.
[GOD:Sobek]
Sobek's pluck that he can use to chase/lockdown a Loki, as well as his DoT on his third ability can make it difficult to run at anyone near Sobek.
[GOD:Ymir]
Ymir's on demand Stun, as well as his wall, can make it difficult to run at anyone near Ymir.
[GOD:Aphrodite]
Aphro's Stun, Knockback, and Ultimate, and shared prots can make it INCREDIBLY hard to focus whoever she is linked to.

Gods that are easy for you to abuse:
Immobile mages such as:
[GOD:Zeus]
[GOD:Vulcan]
[GOD:Kukulkan]

Any god without a Crowd Control Immune Ult such as:
[GOD:Cernunnos]
[GOD:Cupid]
And every prior mage listed in this section.
