Chests are a loot-based system that allow players to unlock cosmetic items through random chance. Each chest contains a predefined pool of items, and opening a chest grants one item at random. Available rewards include Skins, Music Themes, Global Emotes, Jump Stamps, and Badges.

Some items—particularly non-skin cosmetics—are exclusive to the chests they appear in and cannot be obtained through any other method.

How to Obtain

As of the Open Beta of SMITE 2, chests can only be purchased directly from the in-game store using either Diamonds and Legacy Gems.

Chest Types

• Standard chests are regularly available in the in-game store and rotate on a consistent basis. They often feature a themed collection of cosmetics and are sometimes associated with newly released skins. In some instances, a standard chest may include an exclusive cosmetic bundle that complements the featured content.
• Seasonal chests appear during in-game events or limited-time celebrations, such as Easter, Halloween, Christmas or other seasonal promotions. These chests typically feature themed cosmetics that match the specific season's style. Some may include exclusive items that are only available during that season’s duration.
• Special chests appear less frequently and almost always contain items not typically found in either Standard or Seasonal chests, such as Music Themes.
