Healing

 

Healing is the act of restoring a god’s current stat_health health through abilities or items, separate from other forms of health recovery, such as lifesteal and health regeneration. It can be countered by health reduction effects. Scaling in various ways—some sources may scale with a percentage of a god's stat_intelligence intelligence, while others are influenced by stat_physical_protection physical or stat_magical_protection magical protections.

Healing cannot push a unit's current health above their maximum health, but certain effects, like leveling up, purchasing a new item and god abilities (e.g. [GOD:Achilles]' Gift of the Gods), can increase both a god’s maximum and current health at the same time. While this may appear similar to healing, it’s not classified as such and is therefore not affected by healing reduction.

General

Leveling up restores a portion of your maximum health and current health. The lower your current health when leveling, the less healing you receive.

In any game mode that features it, standing inside the fountain gradually restores your health in a rapid pace.
Picking up a Health Orb or using  Meditation in Assault grants a burst of health recovery, followed by a pulsating Heal Aura, similar to [ITEM:(186)Amanita Charm].

On-heal Effect

The following will trigger an effect upon healing or being healed by an ally:
